Takashi Iwasaki (b.1982; Japan) has been intrigued by the vaguely defined world of art.
Not only what one sees in a museum or an art gallery is art, but depending on the way one thinks and
looks at, it could be found everywhere and exists in everything which are made by humans.
Iwasaki deals with abstract and representational methods. In abstract works his main
concern is to create playfulness and to express positive feelings with the consideration on the formal qualities of shape,
color, composition and space. In representational works, in addition to the formal qualities, he tries to
achieve photo-realistic quality with input of conceptual twist.
